I stole the Arrangement from Chet Atkins, after hearing him play it on Austin City Limits. I learned it in an effort to teach myself to fingerpick, so My version is pretty simple. The hardest thing is to get the timing of the melody line right. I Play this song with a Jazzy triplet (swing) rhythm. The bass part Played with the thumb stays right on the downbeat, but the melody Jumps ahead of the beat sometimes: 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 <--- Main beat 123123123123123123123 123 <--- Triplets E -0--0----0---0----0------- B ---3---3----3---3----3-1-- I hope you can make some sense out of that notation. Typically, I play: Intro, straight verse, improvised verse, chorus, Improvised verse, chorus, coda. Anyway, I hope you like it. Mr. Bojangles (I don't know who wrote it, unfortunately) Arr. borrowed from Chet Atkins Tablature by Jonathan Byrd [INTRO] C Em/B Am G7 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 E
